Amit is leading new initiatives at Tokopedia which includes building the digital marketplace and payments. Before joining Tokopedia, Amit is credited with building India’s biggest digital wallet platform – Paytm. Amit worked with Paytm for more than 3 years to build Paytm wallet from inception to the stage where it is today. Before that Amit has dabbled in entrepreneurship and also built a 125mn USD annual turnover travel business at MakeMyTrip, India. Amit did his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and did his B.E. (Computer Science) from NSIT, Delhi.
